Default 14.7 ?

is this a good time for a 2000 civic si with i/h/e, skunk mani, and stage 1 cams and gears. with a vfac, fuel press and rail, and a 50 shot of nitrous.

seems like you should be able to slip lower than that dude

b16a2 @138/98 at the wheels, 92@ 5252rpm stock trim
1/h/e, stock ECU @150/110 at the wheels, 100@ 5252rpm
stage 1 cams, manifold, fuel stuffs @168/118 at the wheels
50 shot of no2 +35/30 at the wheels
203/148 at the wheels on the bottle seems about right.

with that, spraying 2,3,4 your 60' should be 2.10-15 with a decent
suspension (HR sports/koni yellows/GC coil overs for ex. with
stiffer rear sway/tie to eliminate squat) and something like
falken azenis on even stock rims... you should trap like 105
something like 14.3-13.7 in my view... same gears as ITR,
no LSD, however suspension will limit wheelhop/spin some...
if ITRs can slip into low 14s with stock motor, Intake only pulling
168-175whp... the Si with those mods should break 14s with the
right driver, granted your clutch can hold it all

14.7 off the bottle with stock suspension would be a good time.

when i had it tuned my car i only put down 154 whp with 111lbs of tq. 3rd gear also bogs when shifting into gear like falls out of vtec. and suspension wise i have stock shocks with neuspeed springs and lower tie bar and front and rear upper tie bar.

14.7 is not that good at all dude... your engine is supposed to have 170hp stock to my knowledge (b16a3) because i remember it has 10 more hp than my first gen b16a... and with those modifications you should be well over that... 14.7 is something ive seen people run in stock all the time

Its all about the driver. with those mods you should be pulling high 13's low 14s.

that sounds about right to me 14.7. i have never seen a stock si break into the 15's. its the torque that you need. you have 111 ftlb stock, but a d16y8 has 107 stock. and you weigh like 200 more pounds than an ex. thats the prob, you cant get off the line. but i have 1 hatch with a d15b7 with all the mods in the sig and i ran a 15.1 last night in fontana and that was only bc i have really shitty tires but if i had hooked up better i would have broken into 14's.

so i still think that 14.7 sounds slow but is more reallistick considering the weight involved.

154whp NA with those mods shows me your cars tuning is way off or has a problem. That should be B16a3 I/H/E numbers, stock cams.

it could have been a problem hooking up. i also have crappy tires and i have to say that the fontana track is not the most high tech. and the burnout box covered almost the whole entrance way to the line and my tires got wet. also right before you get to be like third in line to run and have to go through that gate thing, there was alot of water. also maybe you are just a bad driver. is it you first time at a track?

too slow. i ran 14.7 with ctr's instead of stage1's, and without the fpr/rail and without NAWS. needs some work.

that is a little slow but your trap speed indicates it's probably a mid 14 sec setup. There's no way that thing should be in the 13's. Whoever said that is crazy. Remember, Si's are heavy as hell. The stock numbers look good. 111ft/lbs of tq is good for that engine.

Your done talking. Did you not notice people on here, including me, are running mid 14's stock bottom end without nitrous? he should easily be high 13's.

nah, I'm not done talking. And it's You're as in you are, not your.

Look at his trap speed genius. No way a 95mph trap speed in a 2500lb car will get you into the 13's. Who else in this thread has an Si with stock bottom end running mid 14's? Everyone else had a different car/engine or was running NO2. You're the only one.

He does need tuning and some diagnosis. Something could be wrong with the engine.

Don't ever tell me I'm done talking. I'll say what I want when I want so F$@# U!
