Default 13:1 compression. What do i need to tune?

After i blew up my B16, I ended up with a GSR shortblock, and just came across a GSR head, Turnes out the head was milled. So the CTR pistons i got will bring it up to about 13:1 after its all said and done.
Might be stupid of me to build this...cus in the long run i want to build it for turbo, and i have a year without my licence.

Does it seem streetable with 13.1? What will i need to tune it?

PS: head is for sale $250 if intrested

First thing to do would be to buy a thicker headgasket.

I would ditch that head and find a new one... Get some high lift long duration cams with a lot of overlap to bleed off some compression... 13.0:1 is cool but your head has to be milled quite a bit to achive that compression with only CTR slugs... Hook up a Hondata S200 system and you'll be set... Good Luck

It would only have to be milled about .010" to get to 13:1

sgT what do you figure the compression ratio of a stock B18C1 with CTR slugs in it at say 0.25mm overbore?? I'm just curious... What increase are are you getting from just milling the head 0.010"... Latez

Well I ain't he, but it sould come out to 12.1:1ish with .25mm overbore. The same engine milled .010" should be around 12.5:1ish.

I'm sorry but why would you ever consider building this when you know you want to go turbo??

Can't you just wait it out, do it right, and boost it?

Why bother building N/A?
