Default 12:1 compression on pump gas and octane booster?

if i want to run at least 12:1 compression or higher on 91 octane...is it safer to add octane booster everytime i pump gas?

It'll be safe if you have adequate fuel and timing maps.

well' i've seen 12.5 H22's runnin 93 fine....but they were tuned. It may be possible to run 12:1 on 91 w/ good tuning

nevermind....i realized octane booster doesn't do much.. .7 points rather then 7 points

if you want to get by before tuning, use 1 gallon of toluene to 5 gallons of pump gas, and retard your timing a bit

I wonder how bad it'll be running 12.5:1 on 91 Octane. Someone in California is selling a fully built block w/ 12.5:1 88mm
