Default higher compression= higher octane? help

whats our highest octane available? 95?
if i run somthing like 11.1, like in japan, here in the US we dont even have a high enough octain.
japan runs like 98?
basicaly what my question is, does anyone have 10.1 11.1 comp in their cars ?
dont tell me you use octane booster every tank

you didn't know? you must run octane booster for anything with compression over 10.5:1.

jfwy, you could safely go to 11.5:1 on 91 octane.

FYI - S2000 is 11.0 compression - on "premium" (91) octane

I run 11.5:1 compression on 91 Octane gas and advanced timing you will be fine, it's when you get near 12:1 you should start worrying although I know of people doing that on stock timing with no problems.

yes Japan uses different rating then we do, we use whats called pump octane (AKI) system, they use something like RON system there is also MON system which combined together and avg. gives you pump octane...R+M/2=AKI

AKI= is used in USA (pump octane)

98 RON octane equal about 93-4 AKI at our gas station...
