Default 10w30 instead of 5w30 in Integra, any problems?

My car seems to be losing a decent amount of oil over the past year or so [lots of autox and hard driving] and I was wondering if running 10w30 would be ok in my engine. I was thinking the thicker oil might not burn as fast as the 5w30 I have been using.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

nothing wrong about it...my car eats up 5w30
but doesn't eat up 10w30.

actually i did the same thing. my civic drinks 5w30 and uses about a quart by the time my next oil change is due. since i've changed to 10w30 i lose maybe 1/2 a quart at the most

Use 5-30 if the temps drop below 0. Otherwise 10-30 works fine.
