1 point more compression=about how much hp?
Usually about 1lb of boost equals about 10 hp...what about when you raise your compression by a point? How much hp do you think that gives you?

On a D series motor...I would be upgrading the cam...but lets just say stock cam, wondering if there is a general esitmate on it.

one point as in going from 9.1 to 9.2? or as in going from 9.1 to 10.1 cuz points are in the tenths (im purrtty sure anyway) so going from 9.1 to 9.5 is a 4 point increase

I think they're talking about going from 9.0:1 to 10.0:1 as being a one point increase, otherwise you could just drop a set of pistons in your motor and pick up two-hundred ponies.
