1.7 SOHC

can the block from the d17 be used w/ a d16a6 transmission?
what are the differences in the transmissioon bell housings?
anyone ever think of a stroker d16?

did they even make a d17? i thought it was a b17 dohc. what did the d motor come out of? (just curious)
