what is the difference between the 1998 1.6 and the 1995 1.6 v-tec, will any parts interchange?

 

Well the main difference is the vtec,cam and solenoid,also pistons. All the parts are interchangeable except for things such as valvetrain,cam. You can certainly put the vtec head on your non vtec block,wire it up with the vtec ecu and have a mini me!
