Default 1/4 trap speeds

my friend at was talking to some dude on the net and he said he run a 13.8 with a 87 mph trap speed..does this sound right to you? i'm not sure but i thought that that time was good for 100 mph trap speeds..someone clear this up for me..thanks

sounds funny, that trap speed is kinda low for a 13.8 that seems more like a 15 second et's trap speed to me.

an 87 mph trap is somewhere between 15.9-16.2

the only way he got that is if he has a high 12 second car and slammed on the brakes at the last second, or he has a 11 second car and his car broke at the 1/8 mile.
