Default '05 TL VSA Sensor Neutral Position Memorization

Ok I am rebuilding an'05 tl and had to remove the VSA modulator control unit. Now with it all connected and brakes bled I am getting the "/!\ " light. I believe I have to do the VSA Sensor Neutral Position Memorization. I have tried to short the 'SCS circuit' using pin #9 but only blew a fuse. I don't know what this circuit is but followed instructions from a guy who did the same on his TSX. Didn't work for my TL. Trying the #1 pin didn't work either. I don't want to try to do any more as I don't know what might else might trip, or burn out. Hate to fry some computer. Any one know what to do??

May I ask where you go these codes and are they suitable for my car?

thanks alot

Hey there, I wasn't able to send this via PM becuase your in-box is full or restricted????

The SRS codes that I listed in the thread you mentioned are from Honda/Acura. I'm not 100% if they are current up to and including 2005 model cars or not. I would presume that they are.

I have a few SRS lists that do not include any of the 3-* or 4-* SRS codes. I would assume that would be because those vehicles do not have SRS seat belt tensioner sensors. Does your car have these sensors? If you do I would go based on the codes and check/test your seat belt tensioner. Could be something as simple as it coming unplugged or a cut/corroded wire.

If you do not have the tensioner sensors I would check your SRS codes again. If they keep popping up over again I would suspect your SRS unit.

Reset the DTC/SRS codes and see if they come back first.
