guys..Hi..new on this site...actually heavy equip tech....my wife accord..had to replace ign key switch..finally jammed up...but I have different key now...there is a code on the old switch assembly.stamped in..highlighted in marker..4 digit..3 numbers and one letter...is that the keycode.....as I would like to have new key cylinder rekey to original key.....pain to have two keys...any info would be great thanx .

 

If you are going to have the key cylinder "re-keyed" to your original key, then you do not need a code, although the original key would have to be in good shape to re-key the cylinder, it was more likely the key that the problem. 94
