Default 00si/LSVTEC wiring into 96 hatch

I thought the 99/00 si harness and ecu would work but i found out they don't, so now can't i modify my dx harness with some of the plugs from the si harness to make it work? I got a 97GSr ecu . So if anyone knows what all i have to splice and extend, let me know i need to get my car running. Thanks

You bought the wrong year engine harness. You should've picked up a 96-98 civic EX engine harness, then everything would work like butta with your 97 GSR ecu.

But like HRILSVTEC says, you could use the 00 Si engine harness and use a 99-00 GSR/ITR/B16 ECU.

How did you wire up the si harness?? on the 96-98 there is no 3rd plug inside the car like the 99-00 si's there is a plug inside the car besides the green plug.

You can rewire the OBD2a DX too, such as i did on my friends GSR swap.... It is a little more work to rework the IAC and stuff but it wasn't all that bad.. Good Luck
