Default 00 civic si check engine code 3 obd2

i just put in a turbonetics hybrid t3/4 on my 00 si, runns great untill the check enine light comes on and goes into protect mode. i looked up the code it says map sensor. so i bought a missing link to fix the problem, it did not fix it, the code comes on again, mostly after the engine get up to norm temp. . if i drive even in boost its ok untill it gets hot. if i drive at normal it comes on with no boost, mostly when i let off the gas. Is the odb1 code and the obd2 code the same? i do not think so. i have the obd2. please tell me what other problems would cause this. after this i will be golden. i have the VAFC2 with stock injectors. thanks for all and any help. MY email is MILESBIZZELL@YAHOO.COM

you shouldn't be getting a map code if its installed the right way, try turning it around the other way and see if that helps

ok thanks i never thought of that, i talk to a guy who owns a turbo shop, he says there is 3 types of missing links. the one i have is an older one and it does not have the hole on the side of it that has the filter. that may be my problem too. but 2morrow i turn around the link, thansk for your help. i am so close.. it makes me want to cry.. miles
