Default wheel offset question!!!

ok this is gonna seem like a bunch of babbling so just try to stay with me... I drive a 98 civic coupe, I am getting new wheels but want to run a more aggressive offset(want to be more flush) but anyways im getting 16" wheels and i believe my current offset is 42 but wanted something more aggressive, i have willwood 11 1/2 " rotors up front and was just wondering what offset i could run taking in consideration for my brakes and my chasis. i know this wasnt written well but i couldnt think of how else to word it..any help is appreciated..

If your brakes clear with +42 offset wheel, then a lower offset is not going to be a problem as the wheel only gets pushed further away from the car.

The most aggressive offset I have run on a 7" wide wheel was 37mm. You do the math and that would push your wheels out another 5mm.
