I am currently having an issue with torque steer. I have a feeling it might be a ball joint or even something in the steering system (because potholes), but how bad would it be if a torque mount was broken?

its very noticeable at speeds above 30 mph, with the car veering left on acceleration and right on deceleration.

I put my summer wheels on (which have stock tire size, brand new tires as well) and it became more pronounced, making me have to correct it consistently.

While putting my wheels on, nothing seemed to have play but I guess i will have to check it all again.

Anyone else have an issue like this?

Car is an 08 Si w/ 65000 miles.

If you have a bad mount, you should get it replaced

Lower control arm bushings sound suspect, seen it on a lot of cars of various makes. The lower vertical bushing in the front of most of these cars are destroyed, and will mimic your symptoms.

When did this happen.
