Default Tein Basic ?uestion

I put the Tein Basic Coilovers on my EG hatch, and I lowered it all the way on the front and back, but the fronts not tucking tire at all! I was wondering if I could use a different spring in the front to drop the front down a tab bit? Will the Tein lowering springs fit?

No the Tein lowering springs will not fit. You will quickly blow out the shocks on those coilovers running them so low. What is the damn obsession with tucking tire? Get an airbag suspension setup if you want to do that.

you should probably wait until they settle a couple days to see if they go lower

Teins basics dont go low at all.Ride closes to stock but dont go low. I know i replaced my teins cause the drop wasn't low enough for me. Also i contacted tein hoping to get a softer spring they said no they do not offer it.

good thing they don't offer it.

suspension need travel to work, if you slamming on a softer spring, how you suppose the damper can keep up with that? not to mention riding bumpstop on half of the time.

if all you want is low and show then just go buy some ebay junk sleeve and call it a day, neither way you are gonna screw up the suspension anyways

Why did you buy coilovers instead of airbags?
