Swapped new 4040 prop valve with issues...
I recently swapped my 3030 prop valve in my EG with a 4040 one. On the track today, I noticed that with any higher level of speed, the rear swings out with any moderate braking. The entire system was bled afterwards with everthing being snug and it still did the same thing. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

by rear end swinging you you mean rear tires locking up right?? if so what wheels tires ,brake pads rotor size the 4040 could be to much for your setup and cause the back end to lock up easy in a lighter car

Re: Swapped new 4040 prop valve with issues...
I have stock front rotors/calipers with XP10 carbotech pads up front with stock rear rotors in the rear with Sir rear discs.
It's a 95 DX with a K20r, full coilovers, front and rear sways, camber kit in the front/back and I am running R888 for the tires...

If you're running stock front brake either:
A. Get a set of Integra front brakes (they make a whole heck of a lot more difference than the rear discs do)
or
B. Run a 3040 prop valve from a '92 - '93 Si hatchback (also found on some sedans with rear drums) The '92 - '93 Si is the only civic to come with small front brakes and rear discs, and it comes with an oddball proportioning valve.
