hey guys, been along time since i posted in this section here goes, i have tein s-tech's on some tokico illuminas, basically, like twice this month when i hit a pretty mean pot hole the shock shaft somehow pushed through the bushing in the top hat and i have my shock shaft hitting my hood when i drive. Its done this twice now, i usually just take the 5 min and remove the shock and redo the bushings and put it back together but its starting to become a real PITA. Should i buy new bushings? is it possible that i had stretched them? anybody have any insight or expierience this problem before?

 

i think u forgot to put the washer underneath the top hat

 

 

hmmm all i remeber is putting this little metal sleeve over the shockshaft putting the first bushing on then this larger sleeve top hat bushing then the washer and nut on the top, i guess my dumbass forgot something hmmmm.

 

nope, from my manual it says that i have all the required pieces, maybe i overtorqued the nut on top and it compressed the washer too much on the mouting rubber causing the hole to expand or something? what do you guys think? just get a new set?
