Does anyone know why these replacement ball joints are out of stock everywhere?

I'm stuck with an older style Skunk2 kit that has slipped on me, and I really want to replace my old style ball joints with the newer plate style ones, but can't find them anywhere they are even back ordered from Skunk2!

Anyone know what's going on with these?

 

Skunk2 still considers this to be a warranty repair / failure-replacement item and not a normal "sales" item. The quantities they are producing can't handle the demand that is being generated from guys that are upgrading their Skunk2s or Skunk2 copies to the PRO Joint. We had 50 or so of these come in late July and they were gone the day we got them.. they were ordered in October !! We have another 50 on order but until Skunk2 starts making more, we are all just waiting...

 

They are available now, they had released them on Sept 25 and I order a pair that day.

 

Does this mean Skunk2 will replace your slipping joints with the new version for free under
the warranty? I have to buy a set too but if they will replace them for nothing then thats grrrrrreat!
