Anyone have personal experience with either of these yet?

Skunk2 Pro Series


Blox


Omnipower


They all offer sliding adjustable plates. Is one better than the other? I see some visual differences between them. Blox and Omnipower seem similar (except color) in their design. The Skunk2 has two halves to their adjusting plate which seems a bit more solid than the other two brands.

I would go with the skunk2 ones if your car is lower more than 2 inches I got the omnipower ones they havent moved or messed up yet on me. They skunk2 ones that the screws on the inside part that isnt going to bang on the inside of your finder. Like the omnipower ones did to me and my car is lower 2 1/4.

The Omnipower and Blox arms are copied from the old Skunk2 design, which had issues with slipping, clearance, and difficulty of adjustment. Skunk2 redesigned their arms to what is pictured there in an attempt to eliminate those problems.

omni and blox are "cheap" brands...they based their models on the original skunk2 kit and skunk2 has revised them and perfected them with the pro series, so i trust s2 alot more, i went ahead and baught it, should be here tomorrow, ill post quality pics on the construction of you like when it gets here.

bottom line, something as vital as a ball joint, and the risk of it moving made it worth going with Skunk2 IMO

SPC is the way to go. Their full arm units are great...its what I went to when my junk2's crapped out (bent) under just street driving

on the first gen of the skunk2 i was on 22" slicks at the track and the screws came loose on me.But that was the old style which was just like the omni and blox style.

Is Omnipower and/or Blox not a good brand at all? I've seen the names around for awhile now. Or is it just their current camber kit that gives them a black mark?

I have the blox, front camber kit works fine for me.

well its not like they are BAD, i mean omni's first camber kits had the bushings back out but that i believe is fixed.

theres something dumb like a 30$ spread between the omni and the S2 pro...do you REALLY want to run the risk on something as vital as suspension? not to mention for 30$? ball's in your court.

im riding on the skunk2 1stgen front camber arms for close to 3 years now with no problems what so ever. their new design is to prevent the upper nuts from hittin the wheel well if ur car is dumped and also to increased the clamp load to prevent slipping. cant go wrong with skunk2.

ive had skunk 2 on my car for about 4 years now and no problem...my friend bought the omni kit and it messed up his strut thower part, u can see 2 indintation marks from 2 of the 4 screws from the slider part

I've heard this is a problem if you're lowered 2" or more. As to why people lower their car more than 2" is beyond me. Seems like you're asking for trouble all around.

sometimes you need to lower the car to a certain point to get a particular camber setting. i have no idea how much lower my car is over stock, but the jackpoints are 4.75" from the ground.

on a sidenote, nothing wrong with skunk arms. i have run the same set since they came out in 2000, with no problems.

i have used the omnis and the skunk2s i liked them both i just replaced the allens and washers on the omnis with 10mm grade 8 bolts and flat and lock washers never slipped

i own the skunk2 pro series and i love it. hasnt slipped or f'ed anything up and ive had it on my car for roughly 6-7 months now. choose the skunk2

I have the Omni's generation 2 and have no problems with them and i drive my car hard through corners and such. The only thing is the bushings squeek a little going over speed bumps.

Agreed...minus the squeeking. I dont have that problem.
