can anybody tell me which spring goes to the front and which spring goes to the rear?

I would assume longer in the rear.

The longer ones go in the rear.

there should be a CODE on the springs. F for front R for R rear.

thicker coils generally go up front with drop springs. thicker coils means higher rates; i have yet to see a set of sport/race/drop springs have higher rates in the rear than the front.

noooooooo the longer one goes in the front due to the weight of the engine, i made that mistake with my H&Rs. mine were a 2.25 in the front and a 2.0 in the rear. trust me the one with the most coils is the one that goes in the front

Well this is gonna be a tough one since the OP never mentioned what F$#@#$ car he drives....

On all 92-00 Civics CRXs Del Sols & Integras, the longer springs go in the front.
