Question on/about preloading
I recently bought ksport coilovers for my 92-95 civic, i remember reading something about preloading the coilovers with is basicly putting the spring all the way up to allow for max suspension travel correct? So i would want to preload for a nicer ride?
Also, when preloading how tight would i want to make the spring? just like as much as i can make it with my hands?
I searched but couldnt find the thread =/
thanks

The benefits of a full coilover system is the zero preload effect. From what I was told, just tighten it by hand until the spring doesn't move up and down like it would without being tightened. Then lock the rings in place with the wrenches.
Tightening it further would adjust the preload.
