My Progress Technology Praise Thread!
I recently bought a set of Progress CSII's for my '95 EH3. I have been doing a TON of research, and have heard nothing but great things about Progress. I have been in and out of the Honda scene for about 10 years, and know my way around a car (for the most part). *I decided to do the install myself, so I could save a few hundred bucks.*
*This is where the problem starts. (n00b)*
I installed them, and only ran into the issue where the bolt would not release from the LCA and shock on the right rear side. I bought a used LCA for $15 at a Pull-N-Pay place here in Colorado Springs and fixed that issue real quick. When I assembled the coilovers, i didn't tighten them down enough. (You will see what I mean in a minute.) During assembly, after all the pieces go on, you have to tighten the nylock nut down while using an allen wrench to stop the shock assembly from rotating. I hand tightened it.
I then drove like that for 3 weeks until....

I was driving home and heard a LOUD pop coming from the hatch. I was close to home so when I pulled in I looked in the hatch, and the nylock nut, upper gasket, and cup washer had blown the plastic cover off and were laying in my hatch. I knew immediately I did something wrong. I had to put my new lug-nuts on anyways, so I jacked up the car and had a buddy come over to inspect it with me. We looked at all the coilovers and noticed the gaskets were all warped, bad. Because I didn't tighten the nylock nut down enough, there was very little pressure, so when I would go over a bump, the gasket would pop out, and sit sideways for a bit. I'm an idiot.

I got all the gaskets to line up and fit back in, and called Progress the next day. I told them my sob story and asked how much the gaskets would be, and if I should replace them. I'm sure they got a good laugh out of my story, but the lady on the phone said they would ship them to me for free, even though it was my stupidity that cause them to warp.
Seriously, I could not be happier with Progress. They are installed correctly now, and I am putting the new gaskets in ASAP as I just got them tonight. The ride is way better after they have been tightened, and the car drives like a dream.
Basically, Progress rules!!

I have heard nothing but positive & glowing reviews from people that have run Progress suspension parts. Their customer service is top notch.
Car looks good.

I run the progress CSII with 350/250 for my DA daily and 350/350 for my track days. Awesome setup and A+++ customer services. Staff are great to talk to.
I couldn't find anything bad to say about them.

I bought a set of the first Gens that needed to be rebuilt. I called Proress and I spoke to one of the guys, he was super helpful and told me everything I needed for the rebuild eventhough they didnt officially support the old design.
Great customer service.
Try doing that with K-Sport or anything made overseas!

I originally ordered the 350/350 rates, but the company I ordered from was out of stock and they got the 350/250 in first. If I decide to start tracking it, I would love to order some 350 rear springs.

I got the 350/500. Great track set up. Little rough on the streets. Corners like a monster, not going to a 16 rim to eliminate some tire fold. Best product for the money hands down.
I love the ride height and they're not that uncomfortable. I have 15's, but that's as big as I'll go. It corners great, but I need some more stabilization soon.
It's awesome to see so many people loving Progress. I'm glad I did my homework, or else I'd be all herrafrush on some Tein's. (jk, i hate that look, and i'm hijacking my own thread.)
Yeah I'm at 12.5 from center to fender looks good and I track my car so Not to into the Hellaflush thing. Might be picking up a sedan to turn into a VIP and I'll go progress for that too.
wow!
revisited this thread, and realized i've been on these for a little over a year!
they're still holding up great. when i moved from colorado springs to nashville last summer, the ride was great.
seriously, this is the best thing i've done to any of my cars.
thanks, progress!
