Default Lowering DC2

So I decided to lower my Integra. I got the front on with ease, but on the rear the bolts are frozen to the bushings. I ordered some new LCAs and want to put them on but without ruining my shocks. There is a bolt that's welded onto the shock on one side, and I've seen that people cut that bolt off. If I were to cut it off, would that ruin the shock or would I still be able to screw a new bolt in and it'd hold the shock in place?

Also, would I need to get the exact same bolts, or could I just go to Home Depot and get similar ones?

Go to acura and get new bolts, they aren't that ungodly expensive, I'm not sure if you can even get the LCA-Shock bolts at hardware stores since it's such a rare pitch. I know the rear sway bar bolts are pretty much dealer only. You should really look into buying new shocks since your old ones won't last long on a dropped car anyway, and I know I couldn't have saved my old rear shocks if I'd tried.
