help squeaking...blown shocks?
when ever i go over the smallest bump or road imperfection the rear squeaks...now if the shocks were blown i thought the car would bounce up and down the road...could it be b/c i put new oem bushings in the rear lca? or do u think my shocks are blown? setup: gr motorsports 2inch lowering springs/bilstein hd shocks
i didnt put them on yet...ive had the suspension for awhile but the car just sits in the garage...havent even put a thousand miles on it yet...it sucks b/c i i jus bought some ground-controls w/ the adapter for bilsteins and if there blown i would have to acquire the adapter and jus buy some konis

You dont have swaybars on the car? If the front bushings/endlinks are bad they will make a bunch of noise, its really annoying.

i stand corrected.
i stand corrected.
everything went on at the same time..bushings,spring,shock..maybe its b/c its like 19 degrees out but i dont even drive the car like that it just sits in the garage and i might drive it like 3 times a month. the bilstein hd's are good shocks are they not? i was doing my research and i've read a few times that they are one of the best non adjustable struts if not the best
Try this - loosen the rear LCA bolts (all 3) and drop the car on the ground. Dont remove them (d'uh), bounce the rear suspension a few times then torque them to spec w/ teh car on the ground (i think its 40-43 ft-lbs for all of them).
