Default Ground Control/Koni Setup

I have a 97 Prelude SH and I've been trying to contact GC and cannot. I've emailed them and received no response at all.

Is there any better way to contact GC other than calling them? Is there a seller on H-T that I can contact for questions and to purchase off of?

TIA

Why are you afraid to call them?

lol, no I'm too cheap

For real though, I have some questions and if I can get away with a phone bill as I live in Canada and get some help here then that would be easier for me

what do you want to know about the product?

If you go to the suspension market place there are people who sell the combo.

Although they don't know much more then what the GC info on the website tells them.

How do i know this? i contacted a seller who said he could get "koni race shocks". I asked him for prices on 3011's and 2812's. He said he didn't know what those are and they aren't koni shocks. then he quoted me a price of 1100 for the 8041 race valved yellows.

3011's and 2812's are models of koni's, you can see them on there website.

Well I called them and they are going to email me a quote. I don't really know all the specific questions as I am no pro at suspension components. I've read great reviews on this suspension and they seem to be very good. I don't know the model of shock for my car as they don't even advertise them on their website (GC). I just told him that I need a complete suspension setup with all necessary parts to make it complete. I think he said it comes with the shocks, springs, top hats, perches, sleeves and isolators. I'll find out a price in the next day or two. I did actually forget to tell him that I wanted the Koni yellows but I'm assuming he knew what I wanted or maybe that's the only kind that comes with the Prelude setup. He also said that he doesn't sell many kits for the Prelude at all. I wonder why....

Oh yeah, I called them on my work phone I hope they don't find out

Does this kit sound complete to you all? I don't want to pay for all of this and then receive it missing something ya know? Would the isolators replace the stock ones? Are these isolators the parts that you have to cut the middle out to fit the shock? I remember reading something about that but cannot remember what part it was.

oh yeah, one more thing (I think ). I'm thinking about 400 spring rates for the front and 450 for the rear. The car is a 97 Prelude SH and will be used for daily driving and weekend auto-x. I hope these spring rates are sufficient.

ef civic which is much lighter than Prelude uses 450/550 setup for autox, and I would think if you want to run competitively, you might need some higher rates, but then if you drive it for DD, then you might not want to torture yourself by running anything higher... it's your call!

Yeah, the Prelude will still be a DD so I don't want to go too crazy. I've also only been in a few cars with aftermarket suspension so I don't really know what I'm getting into as far as comfort goes with the spring rates I chose but I hope they are fine.
