Function Form Type II Users post here!!
Anyone who's riding on type II's, what are you inputs.
Ride quality / adjustablitly / install factor / other input.
I'm really debating these for my setup.
I used to just ride skunk2 sleeves on stock struts, and i know these will probably feel like a dream compared to those.
Just looking for input from users or previous users
Thanks a ton!

I had the chance to drive my cousins Integra for a week with this set-up.
Honestly, I was not impressed. It wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't anything special.
But they sure do look pretty.

While I had the car, I adjusted the settings from soft to medium to stiff.
Really not that much of a difference.
Yes, they were the Type II.
Why don't you just keep your Skunk2 coilovers and get some Illuminas?

I wouldn't really consider those a "nice" full body coilover. Im not knocking them but something like PICs, or an upper level tein is more of a nice full body.

its weird. Cause i've heard mixed opinions on them.
Some people swear by them, some people dislike them.
Next minute people say Ksport owns the division who makes them. So many mixed opinions

im satisfied with mine. been riding for over for just 3 months now and it rides nice especially for the city its not too harsh. i tried tein SS before this and that ride was too soft and unpredictable..the ff2 on the stiff setting was pretty good in handling...
also keep in mind everyone has diff opinions..when i was looking for coilvoers like u i tried aalmost all of their cars to see what i wanted. i wanted something not too stiff yet good enuff for some handling...i sat in some omni sport coilovers, tein SS, apexi coilovers, gc/koni n i honestly had a different opinion then what my frieds said what they were......i settled with f2 because of the dampening adjustable, and fair price.

I would look into pic selects, i THINK they are around your price range.
the tein SS get very good reviews, though they aren't a true upper level coilover.
They ride extremely well and perform very well.

i can't find pic selects for a reasonable price..

I've debated the Tein SS or Pic's before but i've searced all over h-t for them with not luck :[

I would go between pic's and type 2's. I only have experience with the typs 2's though. People say they have heard the ocasional bad things about the type 2's but, none of them had first hand experience with them. Yet to meet someone that actually had them and had problems or disliked them.

Thats one of the funniest ones i have heard yet.
Most if not all the manufacturing rumors you hear will be wrong. I would just stick to the opinion of those that have the product, have rode on the product, etc etc. and find somebody in your area who has the product and take a test ride for yourself. That will help you decide if its for you or not for you
