Icon2 function & form type II

i have some FF type IIs and i have been adjusting them by the springs and ive been told that is the wrong way of doing it.

so i was wondering if anyone knew how to raise/lower them properly.
if you could, also post pics because im not so good with directions w/o visual aid. lol. thanks

supposedly they should be done from the lower mount, the area that is bolted into the LCA. (atleast that's how they are on my FF1's.)

Where the threaded body of the coilover meets the lower mount, there should be another adjuster ring just like the ones below the spring. See just above the white sticker? Turn that to raise and lower the threaded body in the lower mount. This prevents you from messing with the preload on your springs.

what if you already messed with the preload. where is it supposed to be at?
