Default Dynamic Caster

I was recetnly talking to another Prelude member about this. In the 5g Preludes, there's a major difference between the Base and SH models in where the radius arm mounts on the suspension side. In the Base, it connects to the lca, but in the SH the arm connects to the knuckle. Because of this, really the caster changes through the turning angle. Can someone comment on this setup, benefits/costs,etc?

The higher the caster the more negative camber you will pick up while turning, and at least in my experience the more negative camber the better, at least on the track. My only real experience with this though is on a severely camber challenged car w/ MacP struts at all 4 corners. In that case it was generally thought that the more caster the better (Lots of people ran Whiteline ALKs or offset bushings). The negatives I noticed with more static caster was that on rutted or heavily crowned roads the car pulled a lot more in whatever direction the crown or ruts headed. Also, the car will lift on acceleration and dive on braking a bit more. I didn't notice a lot of difference from dynamic caster but that may because the rack on the car I drove (STi) wasn't the most communicative.
