Default coilover and strut question

im searchin on eBay for some coilovers
and im seeing some priced at 20 bucks +
and then i see some for like 200 to 700 bucks
whats the difference besides the brandname?

i really dont know much about this, im still learning.
do i also need struts when i replace the coilovers?

o yea, i already have a no name brand set of coilovers on my car, i tried to adjust them,
(i need to raise my car up due to fender rub) but my coilover wrench broke and i had to use some pliers to turn them. but it seems the i cant tighten them because my car is startin to rub again and it gettin lower.

doed anyone have any tips on adjusting coilovers ?
because i really dont have the extra cash to get new ones right now)

thank u 4 ya time

and also are shocks better than coilovers?

Default Re: coilover and strut question (civic-lized)

the difference in ebay coilovers and brand name is quality and performance if your just goin for looks and dont really push your car then ebay will most likely be fine hopefull some people that have had both can give you a better answer.

are shocks better then coilovers? dont quite get your question try and rephrase that. theres a shock sticky at the top maybe that will help you
