Random coilover question
dumb random question but...
Are spring rates the only thing that determines how stiff cpilovers will be..if you exclude damper adjustability.
or does the design play a factor too?

single adjustable coilovers like Tein RA do not allow you to adj. height and spring preload separately, so when you alter the ride height, you will affect damping.
the reason i ask is because i hear that the cusco zero-2 coilovers are too stiff for the street and its spring rates are 9/6, while the zeal b6 are streetable, and their spring rates are 10/6. they both have relatively the same specs. i believe the b6's are 16 way dampening adjustable, and height adjustable, and the zero-2's are 5 day dampening adjustable and height adjustable. i believe both dont sacrifice stroke when adjusting the height. could anything else play a factor? or are the zero-2's actually more streetable than the b6's?
