I have the tool, but I experienced problems using it. In short, it bent my trailing arm. BTW, I am in West LA.

I'm not a big fan of removing bushings but.. My favorite tool for it is my trusty air hammer and good sharp bit.

I just talk to the dealer and Honda is going to do it for $202.00 under the goodwill consideration because of service bulletin 00-06 dated Dec 11,2001 that half off the regular price. (not a bad deal)

Cool, the parts are $25/ea bushing, so theyre only charging you about $150 for labor
By the way, the latest honda export bulletin http://www.hondalac.com/servic...e.pdf has honda part number 52385-S21-003 as the latest revision. They're about $25/ea at http://www.magauto.com so I'm sure dealer's cost is the same. Print out that bulletin and give it to your dealer; most dealers still have the older bulletin in their systems.

I got the TA bushing problem in my 97 Civic now. Which dealer did you go to get that deal?

thats pretty expensive, i've called here in fresno and its was like 349.00 just labor. but i guess the guy was a little confuse of what i was referring to. i'm actually experiencing the same problem. a guy here in h-t flaked on me told me he's in the valley and would hook me up. what a lagger. im willing to go half with you on the cost of the tool and we could sell it afterwards together. it sucks that this tool is kind of like a one time thing. let me know, we can arrange something.
