Ok Honda Tech I just got an alignment on my 2000 Integra and they did not adjust the camber kit because the shop said its already outward to the max ( I adjusted it like that when i first put them on and it was done by hand not machine lol). Well they just did a basic alignment and the car drives pretty good, But when you look at the tires really close you can see it curving in to the left a little bit. Should go to a another shop that knows how to adjust camber kits or just ride my car out and see if my tires get eating up?
Btw: I got skunk2 pro series coilovers and camber kit. No camber kit on the rear just in the front. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

 

The camber shouldn't really have much to do with that. If one of the tires is out of alignment I would take it back to the shop that just aligned and tell them u want them to redo it right. If ur camber is off and the are angled out as far as they can go then there isn't really much u can do. I have a camber kit on my 92 and it's ajusted all the way out and my tires still toe in a little but they are better then with no camber. If ur camber kit isn't maxed out then yes I would take it to a shop that knows how to do camber kits. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you just need to install your oem upper arms and quit fooling around with useless and unnecessary parts.

I was told by many people including shops that i need a camber kit. With the oem upper arms my wheels were tilting in and eating up my tires. I have seen all the threads with "you dont need camber kits" but I don't see how thats possible. So again my question is do shops adjust camber kits? and that is all good day.

 

They lied to you. It's a myth that's been perpetuated by Camber kit manufacturers in magazines for decades.

It makes alignments more expensive, the bushings wear out quicker, and you can't be sure your alignment is going to stay where it should like you can expect from OEM upper arms.

If you don't have OEM arms I suggest you get some. I'm lowered about the same height you are and my tires wear very evenly with ~2* camber all around.

Shops WILL adjust camber kits but they normally charge an extra $40-60.

 

Some shops do not like them. It adds extra time and there are different kits, so different ways to adjust. Skunk 2's are not hard for a shop to adjust. I found a shop that will align to any specs that I want. I found that out before I started as I wanted a track setup, clearly out of camber specs. Ask until you find what you want. You could also get the numbers from the shop and post. Your actual camber would be interesting.

I am lowered 2.5 all around, no camber kit here, just 2 washers on each bolt in rear. I get perfect tire wear.

I was a lot lower in the past, and still got great tire wear. Wasn't perfect, the insides did wear a little faster, but still maintained pretty good.

Camber does wear tires, but not nearly as fast as some claim/ and belive they do. Toe is the true killer of tires.

Also another reason to not run them, is they can slip out of alignment. (Camber changes)
