Default camber kits?.?.?

Would a camber kit increase traction signigicantly if car was lowered about 3 inches?

I go through tires like crazy, doesnt hook up that good on launching neither, for you guys that installed a camber kit, was there a traction difference?

Well if your camber is bad enough, your only driving on a fraction of your tires. Getting a camber kit might improve traction, but even if it doesn't, get one anyways and save your tires. Getting the camber kit may pay for itself in money saved from buying new tires.

did you get an alignment done after you lowered the car? If you know what your negative camber is (and let us know). If you have more than 2-2.25 degrees of negative camber you are probably having drawbacks to going in a straight line (braking, accelarating etc).

A camber kit would probably help.

some argue that a camber kit is not totally necessary but i disagree. If your car is so low that ur camber is way off, then you will need one. And after you get one get an alignment done. A minimal amount of negative camber may help you handle better, but too much will be counterproductive. You need to check ur toe as well.

Me too, take a look at a cars tires that is lowered 2"+ and doesn't have a camber kit after about 6 months. My front tires are shot :\

It's necessary for safety (if a tire blows out at high speed, you're done) and to also save money on buying tires once a year.

i agree if your going to lower your car 2inches or lower you will need chamber get or you will go through sets of tire wasting alot of money. i know been through that, now i have camber kits and saved me some money 2 years now. you will also get better traction i think because your tire will have full contact not just the edge.
