My friend drives a 94 civic coupe... he got his hands on some skunk 2 coilovers, but he wants to install them with his stock shock and no camber kits.. his question is how long before the allign ment gets messed or his shocks give out? hes only going to drop it 2 inches

the alignemt going to be off anytime you mess with the suspension but mostly only toe though. you will have camber wear but it depends on how much driving you do before it starts wearing your tires. just rotate your tires often that should help a little.

yep as soon as your boys takes the struts off your alignment will be ruined. thats why people get the alignment done after they replace the front struts. so no matter what your boy tries the car wont stay in to specs after he puts in the aftermarket springs.

changing your struts doesn't change your alignment, its when you change your ride height.

his car is going to ride like *** on stock struts.
