Default ALIGNMENT

so i recently got an alignment because i added positive camber to one of my rear wheels and heres the result
FRONT
toe -.01 .08
camber -4.9 -3.o

REAR
toe -.12 .15
camber -4.9 -4.4

SO HERES THE DILEMA

my rear left toe was closer to zero (-.02) and now it said he moved it. but the guy did not even touch that side because he said "the adjuster is maxed out" but isnt negative toe "toe out" and the adjustr was maxxxed out but toward the outside.
now on the rear right he did ajust the toe. he moved it more to the outside (there was room on this side) and it got closer to zero. meaning he added negative toe on that side. so why didnt he move the Rear Left adjuster to the inside to add more positive toe which it needed it?

i kinda told him but he just bombarderd me with a shhitload of bs that negative was to the right side of the car and positive to the left WTF isnt the middle of the car the axis? it was firestone btw it was lifetime alignment

patrickgsr pls chime in

Why is both driver side wheels toe'd out and pass toe'd in?

Did you ask the guy that?

EDIT- I missed that firestone did it, I still want to know why you have -1.9 degrees of cross camber in the front?

holy crap that is quite possibly the worst "after" alignment readings I have EVER seen. Your car is going to be driving down the road sideways like that, chewing the tires with every single tire rotation.

Since you have the lifetime alignment I think you definitely need to take it to a different Firestone location and get them to fix it up.

so i wont need a rear left toe kit? cos the readings say i have negative toe (toe out right?) and the adjuster is also maxxed out toward the left (toe out) position.

i dont know i have an idea that either the "tech" mounted the sensors wrong or my wheels are bent or my car was in an accident.
i dont have camber kits so its not possible that its messed up

Take to another shop, and have the re-do it, and come back with the numbers.

Something is deffinetly going on on the passanger side, that amount is not normal.

I can honestly say I would have flipped if that was my car, deffinetly complain.

Yes, well I think so. If I am wrong someone correct me.

In either situation you need to figure out why one side is toe'd out and the other toe'd in. And also why there is such much cross camber in front.

well i just found this and i guess im half wrong.

the rear left needs to be toed out more but its maxed out according to this chart. but

the rear right needs to be toed in (but the guy that aligned it pushed the rear right out

and according to this chart it should have made the toe more positve) but according to

firestone alignment chart it made it closer to zero WTF

I thought toe out was negative and toe in was positve??

I think that was even stated in the thread I started about alignment specs.

Yea, go to a different one.

I know which firestone I will never go back to. Due to their inability to set the toe where I wanted it set. After the tech was told multiple times, and it was written down.

it depends on the machine. all modern machines refer to toe out as -

there are a lot of noobs on the corvette forum too, i also post there

that -5 camber is a problem. your car is so low you have no suspension

its actually not that low

and i have 10k and 6k rates so i rarely bottom out. and the machine looked brand new. that firestone is new also. i thinks it was that faulty sensor and the tech that messed up ill hit up another firestone tomorrow and ill update the numbers here

Every resource I've ever read refers to toe out as negative and toe in as positive. So no I would not go by those graphics posted above.

I guess the real question is: How does it actually drive with those numbers? Surely the steering wheel can't be straight when driving straight ahead with numbers like that, right?

right. and it pulls to the right.
not as bad as some other cars i have driven.
but performance wise. with the wheel setup i dont think ill ever know the real limits since the wheels are heavy as *** and i really dont autox, sure its fun on freeway on/off ramps but i am responsible driver and dont push it.

UPDATE
i called several firestones and told them what happend and they said to call the one i got the aligment from and that i should even be given gas money.
so i called and they said to go back but they didnt say sorry or anything punks. i dont have time till next weekend. ill refrain from driving except school.
