Default ABS Light

Hey,

I've gotten really good help from the site before and trying my luck one more time. About 6 months ago my ABS light came on but when I've had to break hard a couple of times since then, I've never had a problem with my brakes locking up. I took it to a mechanic and he told me my ABS is probably fine and it might be an electrical problem. I've checked the fuses for the ABS system and they're not fried as far as I can tell. Is there anything else I can check or do to remedy this myself? Thanks in advance!

Gregg

the only thing you can do is take it into Honda and get it hooked up to HDS (honda diagnostic system) and see what exactly caused the light to go off. i know 4th gen accords have problems with leaking solenoids, but you cant know for sure until you look up the code.

Thanks for your input. I was hoping this wasn't the only solution though. Is the dealership the only place to check an ABS code?
