Re: WTB: Momo monte carlo or Mod 78 suede
Bump for you, but I'll also throw in some first hand advice...
1) I wanted the Mod 78 for my track wheel. These are nearly impossible to find used, I wouldn't even bother trying unless you don't mind waiting a LONG time, if not forever to find one. You can get a brand new one shipped off ebay for under $200.
2) I wanted a Monte Carlo for my around town / garage steering wheel. Monte Carlos are a bit easier to find used. However they rarely seem to be 350mm versions that are for sale, 90% of the ones I've seen have been 320mm (I've been looking for almost a year now). Pricing used isn't that good, I've seen many people asking as much or more than you can buy them new shipped off ebay.
I bought my Mod 78 off ebay, I believe the seller was LTB Motorsports. IIRC the price was about $180 and Monte Carlos sell for about $165. I'm still looking for a leather (not suede) steering wheel to use when I'm not at the track. If I don't find something used and cheaper by the end of the year I'm just gonna have to buy a Monte Carlo off ebay.
