huh? I know many people that have done it this way, they just made up some lame excuse they got it all right with no problems....better than taking your car to a "real" smog center where they will make money off you. They will send you everywhere making you spend more money than what its worth..

The only way to go is to deal with a friendly smog tech that will take care of you. A smog tech nowadays is like a family doctor, a family attorney or tax man. If you take care of your smog tech, he'll take care of you.

But, the best way to pass a vehicle is the LEGAL way, we smog K20, B20 and H22 swaps everyday. We're in 2006 now, no more shortcuts. We actually convert the vehicles to CNG/LPG, certify them with the state as flexfuel/CNG, exempt the smogs indefinitely, then uninstall the CNG/LPG conversion kits.
Forget cutting corners, why pay for a crooked smog every 2 years? if you do it right the first time, you won't have to watch your back or stress out about getting referee tickets, or even worry about any future smogs.....

just find a smog place that will pass you...i mean come on my next door neighbor has a RHD 240 and its been over 5 years he's still good....haha...hopefully...
