CA: FS-2000 Honda Prelude Base
SOLD. Thanks for looking.
Price: $1800 obo
Miles: 174,5xx
Title: Salvage
Engine: 2.2L VTEC
Transmission: Auto with sport shift
Fuel: Gas, 91 octane
Just passed smog Sep 7, 2018; good for 90 days for title transfer. New registration; good till September 2019. Mechanically it needs nothing, just jump in and drive! Sorry, no trades.
The good:
-Timing belt/water pump done 3 years ago @ 145,xxx miles
-Yokahama tires with good tread (Purchased new in 2015)
-Fresh Oil/filter and transmission fluid change with Honda ATF
-New rear brakes and rotors
-Recent battery and power steering pump
-CD player/USB/Bluetooth/AUX imput with amplifier and two 6x9 rear speakers
-Cold AC/Hot heater
-Cruise control/power steering/door locks/windows/sunroof
-Tinted windows
The bad:
-Paint is faded, bumps bruises, and some small rust spot
-Faded headlights, missing side blinkers and Honda emblem on hood
-I removed the center caps from the wheels; one is broken (They're included with sale)
-Has a vibration on right turns when acceleration hard. It's not noticable with normal driving
-Burns about a quart of oil every 5k miles
-Sometimes it shifts hard into reverse from park
-Weather stripping worn out on doors and trunk
-Front speakers don't work
-Shift *** is loose (Doesn't affect shifting)
-No spare tire
-Interior mechanism to lock trunk is broken (The key lock that prevents you from popping the trunk from inside the car)
-Glove box handle is loose but still operates
-Mirror cover on passenger vanity mirror came off; still have it
Seems like a lot of cons, but in reality it's a dependable car. We just drove it to San Diego and back with no problems.
I have an unpainted right front fender and a few bottles of new Honda ATF that I'll include with the sale.
PM with any questions. I have paperwork/receipts for maintenance and salvage title in hand:
Thanks, Joel
