Slowpokecivic has paid $100 and refunded me the total cost of my loss. Although it was more than half a year before he made this situation right, I guess the bottom line is, is that he took care of his end of the deal.
Thank you for everyone's support and I don't believe that this would have been the outcome without your contributions to this thread.

I wanted to make this thread to alert people about SLoWpOkECiViC and what he has done to me. About 5 months ago, he had a thread out wanting to BUY/BORROW a catalytic converter to BAR his car(blue civic hatch). Having bought a strut bar from him before, I offered to let him borrow a catalytic converter out of the kindness of my heart.
He came to my apt. and I let him borrow the cat. He said he would return it in a few days. Well, 1 week went by and he kept promising to bring it back the next weekend. Then the excuses start coming after the second week. "to busy", "school", "family function".... blah blah blah. Well, a month goes by and still hasn't returned it. I'm losing faith and getting a little pissed. I keep sending the IM's and he finally stops responding after about 2 months like I don't exist. My smog check came up and I end up having to buy another catalytic converter for $100 no thanks to SLoWpOkECiViC.
Conclusion of the story..... SLoWpOkECiViC is a bad H-T member. I created this thread to alert other HT members that this guy is not honest.
SLoWpOkECiViC if your reading this, and want me to take this thread down, take some action and contact me about resolving this situation.
Anyone else had bad transactions with this guy or want to chime in? Opinions, comments, and BUMPS welcome

I guess it's unanimous...... slowpokecivic is "fucked up", "not cool", "fat cat".
Here is an IM that I received after I got home from work.

i will be the one returning it to you if i can get your number that would be great. if we can do it on friday that would be great since i work and go to school M-T and friday is my day off. He apologizes and said that he totally forgot about the cat. he no longer uses honda-tech so i sort of took his place on here. once again, he is sorry for not returning it sooner.

to the OP, don't put down your guns. hopefully this guy shows up and kicks some money back to pay you for your old cat. you obviously don't need your old one back. seeing as how slowpoke acts like he owns it, he might as well pay you for it. in my eyes, this is the right thing to do for a proper resolution.

I have dealt with sokdo321 and hes an awesome guy also a legit seller, never dealt with slowpokecivic but this seems to be a really shady act cause somewhere in a month im sure its possible to make time for a drive in returning a cat to all the bad h-t members
