Default Need help in the future for my first project... trans swap...

Ok well i drive an automatic 94 integra LS right now. I think Im looking to do a swap instead of buying a new car. I havent had any mechanical experience, really at all. Im not looking for spend a bunch to have mechanic at a shop do the work, mainly because I want to learn and help. I plan on doing a lot of work with the car, but its gonna be manual before I can start slowly disecting it and learn it on my own. So in the future sometime when I get the money for the parts Im going to be doing a manual to auto swap. So anyone who wants to help I could use it, my manager wants me to give him 200 bucks for helping me do it. Another friend wants a 6 pack and he'll show me how, but he's not had much prior experience either except installing coilovers. So somewhere inbetween there Id be willing to throw money someones way, but not that much. Anyone willing to help? We can figure out the details later. Keep inmind it wont be for some months, but Im trying to get an idea if i can get the help I need.

Yeah. Have you done one? I read last night someone said their 98 auto teg chassis IS NOT the same as a manual one. He had to make holes for the pedals and for the shifter. A lot of other people are telling me though hwo easy it is and that someone without experience can do it. But someone without experience doesnt own a welderm or anything to cut into my car with. So im confused.
