just curious, why did you take apart the bottom end? did you spin a bearing or something? please level with me, man. why are you running a new bottom end instead of just putting this one back together? i just want to know the exact condition of this stuff before i decide to buy any of it. i'm sure you understand.
i'm in wilmington, nc btw.

i bought this block from someone else on here a while back with the intensions of building an ls/vtec fully built. i took it apart to pull the old rods and pistons out and put new acl bearing and everything in it. i had it taken to the machine shop to have them clean and hone it, and like i said it needs to bored over to 81.5 and should be fine (the guy before me had it sitting so there is a slight build up on it. but i dont really have the money do build it anymore because i am trying to buy a house and i got to pay off some debt that i have. i would still use this block over if i were keeping my civic but it will be up for sale soon also.

i'm interested in all of it. i'd probably just drive out there to pick it up, but i've still got a few more questions.
when you took apart the block, did it have stock rods and pistons, or the stuff that you're selling now in it? did the block have any spun main or rod bearings? does the crank need work done to it? what bore size are the pistons? oh, can i get a better pic of the bearing journals on the rods? thanks man, later.

well wheni bought the block it has stock pistons and rods in i bought the pistons from a guy on here "Juggernaut 2" and bought the rods from one of my other buggys. the pistons i am selling will not work they are stock bore size. and the block needs to be bored to 81.5. as far as i could tell looks like everything looked alright. well i actually like (now) near exit 33 off of i95. i was going to put the pistons on rods in my b18b1 that is in my civic now but the pistons wont work, they are too tall. yea i can try to upload some more pics what do you want to see?

ok here are some pics of the rods again (the darker one is the one i put in my block to see if there would work, AND didnt because the pistons are too tall)
