Hey guys I am heading to fort lauderdale for two weeks and i am trying to find out what the scene is like there. do you guy meet up on a weekly basis or what. please let me know. I am trying to find out to see if I can get down to any of them if so. I will be there from the 9th -22nd

 

There's Tower Shoppes just off 595, Friday night all-car meet. Usually (used to be anyway) pretty huge.
There's a meet-up before the races on US27, but that's in Weston and on Wednesday nights.

If you're driving anything worth stealing, keep an eye on it. 305/954 is terrible with Honda/Acura theft.

Towers is mostly older cars/muscle, but there's normally some "JDM" cars too. Free for spectators, a few dollars to park your car inside the show area, meet starts sometime around 6pm. The Towers meet is just south of I-595 on University Drive, on the east side of the road. If you take I-595 from either direction just get off on University and go south. Turn left at like the 2nd or 3rd light, it's a pretty big plaza. If you pass Nova Drive or Nova University, you've gone too far south. It's maybe 15-20 minutes from Downtown Ft. Laudy/Ft. Laudy Beach, depending on how fast you drive.

Otherwise there's the meet at Sunoco and US-27 and Sheridan St. From the beach, get on I-595 and go west, get on I-75 Southbound, and take of on Sheridan St and go west all the way. Sunoco is on the right. People show up probably after 9pm.

If your looking for non-car-stuff, definately hit up Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, the beaches of course, and if your feeling nature-y, do the Billy Swamp Safari in West Palm Beach or the Shark River Valley tour in the Everglades.

 

Hey thatnks guys howclose to Hollywood international are these places. i am staying close to there and flying into there. i have some places that i am going to, such as tradewinds disc golf course and easterling disc golf course.so i am mainly trying to find the car scene and mainly imports but thanks guys please keep the info coming

 

Hollywood International is just south of I-595 and just west of I-95. Here's a map of where the Tower's meet is and where the US-27/Sunoco meet is.

 

I'm staying in Destin until Saturday. I don't have my si with me but anyone want to hang out? Haven't seen too many hondas.

 

Race850 is your best bet for that area, but doesn't look like anything is going on
