Damn a $30 hydro 1/2 shaft is a stupid good deal! (as long as bearing isn't shot) I usually see $50+ for them and do have laying around after all but $30 sell price just makes me cringe, lol. good luck bro, let me know if that one falls through and maybe I work it out for you

I'm with Joe about having Ed at Balanced tune. Howard does great work as well and has a very nice shop. I'm just partial to Balanced due to Ed having tons of tuning years under his belt, nationally known for tuning many wining Honda Challenge cars and other class winners of all brands.

He has tuned several of my friends dd's and drag cars and road race cars (so has Howard). And his shop is amazing, TDC's shop looks like a storage building stuffed with **** the times I've been there. But I may be biased since I haven't had any good experiences with them to date. I have heard of some #'s coming out of there though, they need to put that RSX they used to run at greer up against the sol some time. lol

If I recall correctly though, Ed charges THROUGH THE ROOF for a tune. Something like $175 for the first 1-2 then $150 every hour after that. Correct me if I am wrong....

edit: Just sent an email to Ed @ Balanced to see if that date is avail and what he charges. Will let you guys know what he said. He is 2hr 10min from the house in Greer...

He charges $100 a hour, for every car I have been with or taken there at least. And the last time I went with Tony he was on the dyno over 3 hours and Ed only charged us $225. He's a really good guy. I'd call, he never looks at his email. lol I'm going to be there tomorrow if you would like me to ask him anything.

Well off to ATL to drop off the head and check on the bottom end progress. Hopefully we can get the car to the body shop tomorrow morning and get this thing moving.

Haha, browsing my photobucket eh? We got almost to the state line and I realized I left the muffler and resonator in the garage almost back at the house now. Fml.

Ed can also tune a car in an hour to 2 he's Max, so I don't see how that is through the roof. He's been tuning Honda's for over 13 years. He's tuned hondata since it was available.
I guess ill find out soon enough how good he does and what the charges will be.

I am not believing that the guy is good. I know he is. I have heard how well he can tune a car. Thats not the issue. My issue is schedule. Once again, I dont want to sound like I settling for "less" due to schedule conflicts. I feel that TDC has posted very good numbers on the cars they post on here and CH.

Shane just email the person and tell them to refund you since it was an accident. If they don't just dispute it in Paypal.
