Seriously though, detroit can't make a inexpensive car with a proper fit and finish. You have to have heard about the whole bailout right? They can't build a car of comparable quality to the japanese automakers. A fit is cheap, but at least it's made well. You can thank the union workers for your car.
And I'm honestly still shocked we had a stroker discussion. Google search is your friend, I'm sure it's on wikipedia, everything else is.

the problem with cheap domestic cars is unions... something like 2400 bucks for every car goes to union bullshit... if they dropped that then the cobalt and g5 would be in the same price range as the fit. both of which are good cheap cars in my opinion and the new focus is actually a LOT better than i expected, it really does get about 40mpg on the highway.
i just hope that gm gets the camaro out before they go under... also the chevy volt is being pushed back because the plant they were building to build the 1.3L that was going to power it is stopped since since they ran out of money.

to be honest alot of the focus owners just hate the new design, to me it's a butt *** ulgy design. An one of the problems they are having with the 08's an up now is they desided to bolt on these eletronic throttle bodys which if you get water in them (they sit right in front of the grill) that they short out then you have to get your car to the dealership to have them order an new one $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

and the new focus doesnt look so bad once you get used to it... and i kinda digged my ex-g/f's parents focus after a few rides around in it... actually was a decently comfy ride.

Well we all know I did. Had a damn blast lastnight. The thing at chasers was my drunken friends trying to see what I'd do when pissed at a dumb bartender. Still had fun.
You guys need to go to my buddies new bar downtown, it's called rays. Pretty cool place, and damn was it packed lastnight. there was a damn line to get in for the new years party and past that it was asses to elbows.

Haha, I woke up still drunk at 1 in the afternoon.
Well today should be fun, I have to go look at a damn car with some dude that has no idea what he is doing. I sold him a stock GSR flywheel and clutch to put on a GSR. And the non-english speaking guy that put it on said it wont turn now at all. I don't have mush faith in this guys work either since he only put in 4, that's right 4 flywheel bolts out of 7. UGH, I hate these damn people.
