Sad to see such a beautiful ITR end like that.
Just out of curiosity, how did you plan on legally registering the car when it is not on the NHTSA's Importation List? You realize that a state title and VIN means ****? This is already happening in CA and WA that I'm aware of and soon to be nation-wide, but the Government (specifically the EPA/NHTSA) has been tracking down illegaly registered Japanese cars and crushing them, then flipping the bill at the owner. So you're out a $15,000 car, and get a $8,000-$15,000 bill for crushing and disposal.
Just an FYI, RHD isn't going to be cool once people start losing their cars and money.

the one with the loss is his brother in law's people, he can just take his money and track another one down. Definitely sad to see such a rare and pristine car get stripped to the bone, man those seats are gorgeous.

Re: Stolen Integra Type-RX.....Houston
wow, im really sorry to hear that man. I recently bought a 96 R, had it shipped from SD all the way to Pa and when the driver showed up, he asked me if i had a spare set of keys to it. I just looked at him like, what the ****, how would i have the keys?
He apparently "lost them" at some point. He said "don't worry, it wasnt an original key" , so i call the guy i bought it from and he tells me it had both the original keys. Needless to say i was furious and made the company pay for me to buy new uncut R keys and have a locksmith come out.
I have no trust for anyone as it is, let alone these shipping companies. I'd have to agree and say this was an inside job. Was the car shipped on a ten car carrier like they usually are? Or just a flatbed. The thief would have had to most likely move and park other cars off the truck to get to yours...sounds a little fishy

You should change locks and keys.

Re: Stolen Integra Type-RX.....Houston
Thought Type R Integra's of that year have Anti-Theft...To get that, the booster would have to replicate .005 Ohm's of resistance at the starter to NOT trigger the AT-Device..So was like the whole truck this car was on taken?
1)A PRISTINE Type R on a TOW TRUCK or FLAT BED is obvious..they'd pull that over in a heart beat.
2)Not to many guys, even PRO's know how to bypass an AT-Device and STILL CLACK a Type-R Down..
I'm thinking inside job man...I'm SORRY for your loss that is a very beautiful car.
