sometimes my car wont start, it turns over, it has spark, i suspect a fuel problem,

i can hear the fuel pump kick on sometimes, and when it does, the car starts, but then it will rev up to warm up then immediately die, if i pump the gas while its dying, it does nothing, this happens a couple of times, then the car will finally starts and runs, once it runs, it has never died while i am driving,

i dont think its the pump cause when i check for fuel, and when the pump does kick on, i get plenty of fuel, could it be a relay of some sort,

auto or stick? also whens the last time you changed your fuel filter? might as whell start there. its like 5 bucks .

 

its a stick, changed the fuel filter about 5 months ago

 

You said that you hear the pump come on "sometimes".

What about when you don't hear it come on?

Seems like a typical main relay problem.

when i do hear it, it starts


also another problem i have, sometimes when i turn the key it does nothing no turn over no nothing, i try again then it turns over, possibly another relay

is this main relay a dealer item or can i pick it up from any auto parts store??

 

Main Relay classic symptoms. It's just underneath the dash by your fuse panel against the outside of the car. I don't think you can buy one aftermarket, but is only 40-50 bucks from the dealer.
