I haven't really spent much time looking on the forums so this might be somewhere else but does anyone know if I can mate a b18b head to a b20b block to get more displacement. also will the b18 transmission mate up to the b20b block or do i have to get a full b20 conversion for my integra. any help please

 

they all should be interchangable but i not sure if your get more displacement by using a b18b head on b20 block.

 

The B18B and B20B block will mate just fine but you will not get anymore displacement from switching heads. as for the tramsmission from an LS, it will bolt right onto the B20B block. Keep in mind that all B-series trannies will bolt onto all B-series blocks. Hope this helps.

 

no wat i was talking about was i want to use a b20 block with a b18 head. I am more familiar with the b18 head and i also have a b18b head that is ported and polished so i just wanted to buy a b20 block, sleeve it, and build it up to boost it. I will get more displacement from it, right? and if u know where i can get a b20 block for cheap please fill me in.

 

you only get more displacement from the b20 block. or maybe its the crank but you dont get displacement from swapping heads.
