A friend of minve wants to put a Y8 in his 94 VX. He wants to know what he has to do to make it all work?? He know that hee needs to get a p28, but what else does he need? can he use the VX wiring harness? thanks in advance.

 

he needs the swap first of all and an obd conversion harness, cuz the y8 is obd2 n vx is obd1

 

Convert the harness.

he has the motor, what else does he need??
If he uses a obd1 distributor, obd1 injectors and re-wires the O2 wire then wil it all work? or does he need to do more? thanks

i thought you had to use a p2p for a y8? why would you use an obd1 ecu on an obd2, i didnt know...

i always thought everything...dizzy , starter...shjould all be obd2
